F is for Fable. A-Z Challenge 2015

Fable
A tale of verse, often using animals or inanimate objects as characters,
that illistrates or teaches a moral.

When you look out the window.
Flowers and greens,
control the atmosphere.
Blessing everything in it's path.
Funky caterpillars, climbing the trees.
Flamboyant webs spun with precision.
Vibrant buzzing, in-between
Round yellow eyes, watching.
Long stretch, mouth yawning,
in extreme stillness.
With the sun, roasting his back.
The little cat displayed an absentminded smile,
there is no frilled dragon coming his way.

The moral of the poem is, enjoy the time you get to just relax and realise how wonderful the world is, if you just let it.
-Miss Bates.

E is for Enduring. A-Z Challenge 2015

Enduring this mellow spring
Embracing the shadows,
as they form.
Earnest earthman,
educated in these endeavours.
Summer is just a door knock
away.

Easter ran away from me,

D is for Demo. A-Z Challenge 2015

Demo#1

Demolished by the people
around her
there‘s no place to hide
having an affair
thinking what she should decide
cannot breathe clearly
through this air.

Easy fix, quick save
a rocky road to the grave
a shorter life, complete numbness.

Drove the car off a cliff
crash and burn
hopeless death.
No misses, no regrets
no broken hearts
with the rest.
Among these broken souls
she‘s flying.

~This was written in my youth, one of the first poems I wrote.
(And no I had not seen Thelma and Louise when I wrote this!)

C is for Cento. A- Z Challenge 2015

cento is a poetical work wholly composed of verses or passages taken from other authors, disposed in a new form or order.

Don't decide to flee,
from the ashes a fire shall be woken
and the shadows will fall behind you.
We are fated to find each other
I won't forget you when we part.
And this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart.

Words thrown together from many of my favourite poems/quotations.

B is for Belated. A-Z Challenge 2015

Balassi Stanza can be defined as,
“A stanza or verse form, consisting of nine line, with syllable counts 667667667. The rhyming structure for a Balassi Stanza is bbaccadda”.
Trying to rise and climb
 waiting to reabsorb
almost like a deep coma.
come cry, apathetic
listen to veridic
there's no agenda
its all been approved
you cant feel excluded
its all for disturbia

~I clapped the syllables, i think they match.
Blessed be the Belated B'day.

A-Z Challenge 2015 ~Theme Reveal~

~Better late than never.~

I've finally stumbled into something
that could be a little over my head
but it's too beautiful to throw away.

For this challenge I shall be following the A-Z Handbook
So each day there will be a new form of poetry!

I shall try my best to keep it short, and inform as I go along.

Looking forward to this
A-Z Challenge
